    Does anyone know if you can take the mirrors from a later 2nd gen (shown in the picture) and put them on an early 2nd gen?BBB5FEBA-C1E5-47AD-8093-30DED9B5C264.jpg

    Yes ive been thinking of doing this a well. Ive read one of the easier ways is to get a set of mirrors for a 2010 ish 4 runner and run the wires and your done. You can find aftermarket ones for under $200

    I’ve been contemplating it myself. Really it’s almost a necessity if you use the turn signal, many drivers don’t, and you want to be seen.

    Just looking saw a set for $150 on
    1aauto . Have to paint the outside covers but that’s not to hard

    do you know if they plug right into the existing wires (adjustment wires) or would i have to tap into it?
