I bought a new set of aftermarket wheels and they hit the brake calipers. what causes this is it back spacing, offset or something else. I would like to get new wheels without using spacers.

What wheels and specs do you have for the ones you got?

Unfortunately not all 16 wheels will work on the Tacoma’s. Now that you have the wheels your options are to get spacers, grind the caliper( something I wouldn’t do) or replace the wheels.
