Carhartt Seat Covers vs. OEM Leather for Overlanding/Camping

    I’ve got the Carhartt covers on leather seats. They’re definitely a looser fit and do slide around a little bit on the leather.

    I wanted them and still like them for the reason that they’re easy to pull off and put in the wash when they get dirty or covered in mud - I’ve got a couple of dogs and got these for the back seat for them first. The front’s are nice for the same reason plus they’ve got a pocket on the back of the drivers seat which for some reason stock seats don’t.

    When I first pulled them off to wash I noticed they had marked the leather seats (pictures below). Some leather cleaner was able to clean those marks up. I’ve pulled them a few times since to wash and haven’t noticed any marking since.

    I picked up some Bartact seat covers on sale and I like them a lot.
