Tint shops in Chicago suburbs - extortion level pricing.

I'm looking for recommendations for a tint shop in the suburbs of Chicago, the closer to Naperville the better.

I've had a couple vehicles tinted at Z-Tech Naperville and I was very happy with their work.

I've only ever had non-ceramic tints installed and I thought Z-Tech was a little pricy for this non-ceramic film but not too high. I don't remember specifically what I paid, but I think around $300 for a sedan to have all 4 side windows, rear window and strip across the windshield.

Recently, I called Z-Tech Naperville to get a quote for my double cab tacoma and I nearly fell out of my seat.

I asked for a quote for 3M crystalline ceramic film. The whole front windshield (70% for heat only), all 4 side windows and the rear 3 section window. They want near $1,000!!!

Are they out of their minds with asking $1,000 or is this the going rate for 3M crystalline?

Needless to say, I'm looking for recommendations in the area to get more quotes

I’ve managed to get Ztech down to $750+tax by doing the crystalline on the windshield and the IR (still ceramic) on the sides and rear. Still kind of pricey (I think) but better than $1k for all crystalline.
