Put my ECT switch back on the dashboard and moved it to the left side of the steering wheel. Tied it in with @MESO stealth shift button so either button controls the function. Didn’t need to do it, just wanted to.

Got my CBI Aluminum Armor Delivered Today!! Going to install it this week.

Installed door molle panels, now I need stuff to put on them.

 

I wouldn't mind doing this, but I ain't so confident in taking the roof off w/o tearing the hell outta something. Nice job though!

 

Finally broke the hinge on the fuel filler door that was seized up. Now closes great lol. Any idea how to get the assembly off? Is it riveted in? Can’t seem to tell how it’s held on.

 

Look like plastic push tabs. Push the center hole in that plastic circle with something.

Thanks man! Yea I thought for sure I was going to break at least one piece of plastic somewhere, but I guess I got lucky. Def would not recommend though hah

 

Peppered in bug guts woke up early and hit the car wash.

 

Installed the DV8 skid plate, finally get transfer case covered.
It doesn’t have a oil filter hole. But it look like I can access front the side.

I just got a toolbox for my bed, I bought those no drill bed holders but it didn't work with the rail, so I just used a spare T nut and installed there.

I kinda wanna black out the truck but I'm kinda digging the chrome, especially with some of those chrome tailgate letters?

Sure would be cheaper too haha

 

Also what i did today, spilled some left over pot pie in the passenger seat, my Tupperware broke on the drive into work.

Got some of that interior oxi clean stuff and just praying it dries nicely

I wonder if it's easier to take the bed off first....

 

Didn't do anything big, but removed old stickers and replaced with one that had Toyota retro colors. I have a badge on the front grille with the same colors from TacoVinyl. I think it flows nice. Way better than the black and red I had before.

 

I installed a product called gapshield to cover the gap in the tailgate to keep out the sand, gravel, debris that tends to fall into the gap. Works as stated by the manufacturer. Satisfied.
