    Honestly either renting or buying it seems like you're screwed. I've been looking at renting with 4 friends and people were asking (and getting) 3k a month for a 1500 sqft shack from the 70's by Green Mountain. We lucked out a little and found a bigger place but I'm not looking forward to the commute to work or skiing.
