Ok I have searched a bit on TW, yet didn't find a thread that seems to address my need

2021 DCLB , presently with no factory cab rack.. looking for a Truck and Cab rack that I could use to haul lumber and 12' kayak(s)

I am not adverse to buying a factory cab rack(as I don't expect much weight to be on it) yet was trying to see what people have done (non custom home made)

Looking to find something that is level front to back if at all possible..

I see the Yakima Overhaul HD, yet only see people using that in conjunction with Retrax Pro, which together makes this a multiple thousand dollar project .

Assuming there is something out there people have done that isn't a couple mortgage payments..

Do you need the tonneau to still fold up? or do you just want the covered storage. The "cheapest" option with a factory tonneau seems to be a voodoo rack. They make them in a bunch of heights and have brackets that fit around a factory tonneau. You do loose the ability to fold it with the rack on.
