That is kind of the plan, we do have the tank pumped every three years since we took possession of the home. Having grown up with a septic we do watch what kind of soaps, toilet paper, what goes in and what we use to help with decomposition between pumps. Before the flus I want to find the clog and make sure the distribution box is in good condition - there is an outside chance they did not use a box and went direct to the filed pipes - which will SUCK in cleaning the system out.

Enjoy your bike ride, thanks for the story it did make me laugh out loud - I can so see that happening :rofl::rofl::crapstorm:

Got my second Covid shot yesterday. It's been 20 hours, and I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I have any side effects. So far only slight tenderness at injection site. I think being well hydrated helped.

Drink, pause, inhale, pause, pause, exhale. Repeat. No side effects with proper protocol.

WeeHoo! Got a clean bill of health from the cardiologist today. Feeling good. Next up is a physical on Friday. More poking and prodding. ;)

Correct, the inhaling part does numb you from the side effects.

A couple of beers after the shot didn't hurt either.

Alright. Progress is good, so before I go make dinner, I got all the old plants out, consolidated all the Hibiscus cuttings, pulled the shelving, cleaned it all, sprayed it, and put it back together. I will be moving that tank into the blue square tomorrow, and I'm not going to change the drip hoses until I make a couple experiments before stuff goes back in.

    That'll do for today.

    Good morning everyone!!

Beautiful day yesterday in northeast PA and today looks even nicer. Made a run to the wine and spirits store to pick up the special order gin I'd ordered and we got some wine for Lynn, a new bottle of Gun Powder and Hendrick's Gin. It was great to drive around with the windows down - spring is here.

Today I'll start to process of getting the Z3 ready for a run to the mountains of North Carolina. I pulled it out into the sun and put preservative on the roof and trunk rubber seals - another coat today plus it's vacuum and wash/wax day - gotta take advantage of these April warm days when you get them. I tried the trick of putting bars of Irish Spring soap on a piece of aluminum foil in the trunk, the passenger seat and under the hood to keep rodents out. I also put a tray of mouse poison in the trunk and checked it periodically all winter - never touched. The soap might just work.

Lynn and I might head over to the local 9 hole golf course and play a round of golf today, too.

Tonight we are going to dinner at the student-run restaurant at Lackawanna College.

    Be safe out there!!

    Good morning Mark

Sounds like you have retirement figured out.
How about a couple pics of the Z3 in the sun when you get her all cleaned up? One of my DOs in England had a Z3, sporty little car as I recall. What year is yours?

    Enjoy your day Sir! :hattip:

    Respect :oldglory:

    Good morning, Rob!!!

Mine is a '96. Ordered it in April '96 while we were in Germany and it was delivered to Wuerzburg in November - I had deployed my battalion to Bosnia in September so Lynn picked it up. Brought it back to the US with us in '97. I absolutely love it - still smile every time I get behind the wheel.

Sweet! DO's had to be about same year. It was definitely same time frame. We got to Mildenhall Jul '94. He was my first DO at the en route sq, so that matches pretty close. Quick google says production from '96 thru '02, so he had the same car in silver.

Thanks Colonel, ya'll have a beautiful Spring day over there. :)

Wemberly is open - so is Scott Greens. Probably others, too. I think Glen Oak opened to members yesterday or today.

Good morning all. Easy retirement day today. Music lesson this morning then off to ACE hardware to pick up a free bag of wood pellets. I need a set of inexpensive portable sawhorses so I hope ACE has a pair. I have $30 in store cash available in my account plus a $10 off coupon if I spend more than $50. I can always use another can of gas for the small engine tools.

After that it is off to my cousins to attempt a screen door repair. I fixed it back in November but the frame was bent, I thought I did a decent job getting the frame back in alignment. Hard to straighten a bent sliding screen door frame. I will not know what I need till I get there.
