1103894A-3F4F-4867-9C06-D12A18240EDD.jpg Hey guys I’m look to remove the the single seat of my back seats to put in a sub box. I’m having a problem with the center bracket poking out. How do I remove it with out while keeping the other side functional.

You cant without cutting it off. But I see you already cut off your seat belt, so just have at it with the grinder till it falls off.

When you sell it you will have to re-install the seat belt.

So what's easier long term- grind the hardware and hope the day never comes that you might have to sell the truck, or just build a small recess into the sub box to accommodate?

I know that was one of the big things for me that had me against cutting it but I really wanted it out the way so I said fuck it. I kept it and I cut along the stitching so I can just reset it back in.

I made sure I could find the part online before I cut it. But that’s honestly easier than trynna build the box around something that small.

Could also build a slightly narrower box. Remove both seats install the box and re install the night seat. As long as the box is behind it you should and an issue. Penny of folks install without cutting this off.

If you do take the grinder to that make sure you mask off/cover up your glass. Grinding sparks can really fuck up door glass...ask me how I know :D

How did you remove the seat? I’m having trouble getting that one seat off as it’s attached the the other two, i know it can be done but I’ve hit a stump.
