That would be me. Visiting my good friend there, he owns the Barley right there on the main drag. Good time this weekend.

awesome solution! Storage and enough height to clear your cab - the best of both worlds.

is that a gray water hose I spy on the passenger side?!??

Cooler came in today! Letting it sit upright for a couple of days before starting it up. Never heard back via email but called them up and was able to get the discount code applied easily. :bananadance: Thanks for that code, I should have done a better job looking before I purchased. @Profloundering Looks to be solid quality, but maybe hit it with the heat gun to fully seal the waterproof electrical connections. Does't look like they waited enough to get them to shrink. All other connections seem very well assembled.

Have my outlet in the propane hatch installed just need to cut the cords that came with it to match the plugs. Using the ones below. Gonna be sweet to have a cooler like this by camp. One less stop when leaving town too.

That is great news! Glad they were able to take care of you with the discount - mine should arrive tomorrow and we'll pick up on Saturday.

I think I've got my sink/drain/P-trap figured out. The faucet/pump/BlueSea fuse block/tubing is showing up Friday so there are updates in the works soon.

Also on the list is a sleeping platform/bench for the mother-in-law sleeping spot and relocating the goalzero to above the sink.

Working on the sink support cabinet design now and will need to get those extrusions on order too.

Teton's are the next trip - hope it's ready...

So I began addressing my stretched rear tie downs last night and learned a few things. Ill be switching things up a little to have some stronger anchor points. Where my rear tie downs mount to the truck, I bent them after off roading down to see the rim of the Grand Canyon. I took it slow but with a few of rock drops, never scraped, there was rocking that was inevitable. They are still solid but after looking at the mounting points and what's available, I believe I can make them better.

Below is how they currently sit and what it looks like underneath.

The factory replacement now comes with a baseplate that I believe is standard with the 3rd gens. Looks like they figured it out. Part below. I’ll probably have to drill a new hole for them.
Genuine Toyota Accessories PT278-35054 Truck Bed D-Ring

As far as the front goes, those kinda always worried me. Especially when we have a composite bed. Ill use the extra D rings and set them up with the larger bed bolts that screw into the frame.

Ordered some HD hooks too to make anchoring easier.

I have seen some guys add tie down points to the actual bed bolts.

no reason you couldn’t do this on your own. hardest part is probably freeing the bed bolts.

Yep, planning on using the extra set of d-rings on the bed bolts closest to the cab. For the rear anchors I would have to check but they may be covered by the Kimbo, but yeah those are solid points. Caliraised has some anchors they sell for this purpose but they don't list the steel or thickness. The hooks I mentioned above should make locking it down easier. Thanks for the info.

Isn't that a big old crack in the corner of the bed? Sure it's not the plastic pushing down vs D rings pulling up?

Dont see any cracks. There are some markings in the composite material, looks like a figure 8, but no cracks.

I think you're looking at the plastic bed-liner.
