Went into the local Scheels to pick up a mid-length gas tube to finish my Rock River build and found a M77 in 22-250 at a price I couldnt walk away from.

Match grade 223 to test the AR for accuracy and the Axis for function, plus a ticket for a KD Appleseed. Hoping to load a bunch of 69gr 5.56 before that weekend, otherwise it'll be run entirely with an M1 Garand and my shoulder is fearing that potentiality.

Good enough for civilian work. Did you go with mrad or moa?

If you’re going to spend that much money, I’d feel more at ease long term with Geissele Super Precision Series personally. More importantly, make sure you torque everything to manufacture spec, and use a wee bit of blue thread locker on the ring screws. No matter what brand.

I made a thing. Nine of us at work pitched in for the 5D jig. Got it yesterday, I knocked out one last night, and a coworker is knocking out 2 tonight.

Had to order a new rear bag because I'm an idiot and left mine at the range on my first trip to the range with it.

I wrap mine around my gun for that reason. Is that strap big enough to get over the toe of the stock.. over the barrel and hanging on the objective lens?

Finally got some time to shoot my P365 after the recent upgrades and I'm not pleased. Started with 3 magazines of 115gr UMC and it functioned with no issues. Switched to some Tula steel case 115gr which is all I've been able to find locally lately, this is when the problems began to arise. Just a few rounds in it started to misfire, all the rounds that would not fire had primer strikes but they seemed to be off-center, I tried refiring the same rounds with no success (out of 30 Tula 11 misfired). Then I switch to my carry ammo which is currently some Liberty Civil Defense +Ps that are less than a year old (Have not been carried that long I typically cycle out carry ammo every 6 months or so). With the liberty ammo the first shot went off without a problem and then I had 3 or 4 failures back to back at which point I stopped for the day thinking something was certainly wrong with the striker.

Here is a pic of the striker which looks fine to me in comparison to google images of factory strikers. Also a picture of one of the Liberty rounds. I forgot to take pics of the other failures but I will later today.

I was thinking maybe the new barrel and slide need to wear in but since the failures seemed to start after a flawless 30-40rnds that seems odd. After inspection of the firearm I do not see any broken parts or abnormal wear, anyone have any ideas?

    I'd guess shitty ammo QC

I'm hearing a LOT of anecdotal stories about crappy ammo even from name brand folks lately...especially with primers not popping and squibs
