    Hello all
    Seeking advice on lift I would like to lift truck level give it that nice stance not looking to get bigger tires .what would be best way to raise it ,lift kit, or Shocks and what is the best height so not straining anything and still get a perfect alignment on truck Also are upgraded stabilizer links worth the cost any impute would be apricated .Used to working on old cars first My first Truck Thks

    Welcome to the forum Mitch.
    Your best bet is a set of front shocks with longer coils to give you some lift in the front. Stay below 2" total front lift (1" longer shock/coil assembly than stock) to avoid needing aftermarket upper control arms. You probably only need 1-1/2" (3/4" longer shock/coil assy) to get level.
    Be sure to measure and document your current ride height for comparison before you do anything. On level ground, measure vertically from center of wheel hub to fender flare. I think your 3rd gen should be about 21" stock in the front. This front/rear measurement will tell you what it will take to get level.
    Also, understand that if you level the front and don't do anything to the rear, when you fill the bed with weight or tow anything, you will be driving nose high. Good luck and ask more questions if you need to.
    p.s.: I don't understand what you are asking about upgraded stabilizer links, so I can't help. Sway bar? Tie-rod?

    Get a dobinsons lift from @Crikeymike , not very popular here but glad I went that route over the norm bilstien ome stuff.

    Thanks I wanted to at least lift 1 inch . I measured difference between front and rear its only 1/5 inch higher in the rear with that said what would i need to raise the vehicle 1 inch and keep easy on rest of suspension and alignment / in last post i mentioned sway bar links is that a needed upgrade Thks for any more info

    If you only need an inch, you might just want to keep the stock fronts and add a half-inch top hat spacer above your shock. A proper lift is still better, but a small spacer is another option and will let you keep your fairly new stock shocks if you like the ride.
    You shouldn't need a sway bar relocation.

    Front Bilstein 5100s on .65 or 1.1 should get you about level. I did 1.65 front and .5 spacer in rear and kept stock springs. Before I did the .5 spacer in rear I was definitely nose high. Mine might be a tad higher in front. $200.

    Thanks for all the info from all being its only 1/2 inch higher in back Ill leave it alone for now but at some point I do want to lift it 1- 1/1/ 2 . Just added Gator Hard cover and Hood struts . Next window Rain guards ill keep watching site for more tips and ideas Thanks

    Thanks for the pic sits nice . from what i am reading better to leave some what higher in rear to keep from front riding high if bed weighted down. Unless can use air bags in rear to lift when needed just thinking some... when i do decide to lift I want to use what ever is less stress on truck with as least change as possible thinking 1.5 lift split the difference . Could i do that with 5100 on front and what on back ? if asking too many questions just let me know

    If you put weight in the bed Even somewhat regularly then the route I took would probably not be for you. I had it loaded down with a max payload of mulch this weekend. Looked real stupid. But that’s rare for me. There are others that are way more knowledgeable than me. Maybe an add a leaf with 5100s all the way around?
