Hey all - selling my matte black Pro Comp 89 wheels on FB marketplace but posting here too in case anyone’s interested.

16x8 with 0 offset, only had them on my truck for about 6 months before I was gifted some new wheels. Comes with all 4 center caps.

$375 - local pickup near downtown Bend.

For those of you who went with gear works can you tell me more about your experience with them? Would like to hear remarks about their pricing (was it competitive?), customer service (friendly? Made you feel like a priority? Response time?) quality, and timeliness of service, or anything else you’d like to add lol

Regear was cheap. It’s an older guy who runs it so keep that in mind but he got me on the schedule and I dropped it off in the morning then picked it up in the afternoon. Havent had any problems or any weird noises

Pricing was cheaper than all other prices I’ve heard. It’s essentially a one dude shop and the dude is old so customer service is pretty much drop by or call him. Mine took 1 full day. No complaints at all.

I’m back at it again tomorrow. Hit me up if you’re interested. I’m note offering CVCTune and KDMax performance variants as well.

How long have you had it?
Do you have a third gen? Did you go with 4.88 or 5.29?

I want to get this done late summer.

5.29s. IMO waste of time to go to 4.88s unless you’re running stock tire size and very little added weight. 5.29 if you’re on 33s with any added weight

It’s a one man shop so just give him a call (or drop by). He said I didn’t need to go with the full kit as I had somewhat low mileage but I believe i got Yukon gears. Absolutely no issues.

Well guys I caved in and traded my Taco for a TRX. If anyone needs stock 2015 headers, intake manifold,URD MAF pnp calibrator, rear storage plastics and stock injectors let me know. I’ll sell it for very cheap

I chatted with him this week to get an appointment for 5.29 Yukon but he told me they are backordered until September.

Girlfriend and I are looking to get into more dispersed camping this summer. We currently have a standard 4 person tent and all other camping essentials. Hopefully I can leverage a RTT eventually.

Does anyone have any recommendations for dispersed camping areas in the Bend area? We are planning to get out there this weekend. I've been scoping Deschutes National Forest on Gaia and it seems like there could be a lot of spots. Am I overthinking it? Should I just get out there and see what we find?

    Yeah just go for it.
We get pretty busy on the weekends. So the more established and popular spots get crowded. But don't let that deter ya.
Lots public land in Central Oregon
Just don't get to mind f'd on finding a perfect spot.
