That really sucks man. I only work with 6 people which may be why we haven't had that problem. I probably listen to podcasts and music 6 out 8 hours most days, makes time go way faster so I feel ya on that.

My recommendation would be audible or something similar. Download the book at home that way it doesn't require WiFi to play. Or if you're into reading any of the online ebook options that let you download and read later.

Good morning friends! Y’all have an awesome day. I may have done something stupid yesterday by picking up more than I should have

Friend/customer works on equipment, he came in yesterday and I ask if he knew where I could get a set of forks for a fork frame I’m building for another friend (guy I got the 3 pistols from a couple weeks ago) and he said he had a few sets to come see him.

After closing the store the kids and I went to his house (wife was gone to eat with a friend), I bet he had 10-12 sets.

He taught me the difference between class I and class II forks. Class I are 16” between the slides and class II are 18” and are the thicker, wider ones.

He said here, you can have these but you’ll have to load them. Started moving them and he said those are 5’, I tried to pay him but he wouldn’t let me.

Several times it would have been nice to have a few extra inches  loading and unloading stuff so I swapped the ones he gave me for the ones I had, I think my old ones are 42” or 44”, I’ll measure them when I get to work.

Turkey season comes in here Saturday, was going to take Cole. Where we hunt the landowner text me lastnight and said he was coming into town Friday and Saturday to meet a guy with a forestry mulcher to do some more clearing. I told him it was opening day and to bring his gun if he could squeeze in some hunting, Cole will have to wait until next week before we can go. That’s okay with me, I need to mow the yard anyway.

What kind of saw do y'all have? Does it have coolant?

We have an Ellis 1600 and it hates aluminum, galls up, blade gets stuck, etc. It doesn't have coolant though. I have this same saw in the shop at the house.

    New poll!

I'm getting old I reckon. I needed to get my tires rotated on the Tacoma (free rotation) and I also need to change my oil. I have always changed it in everything I've ever owned. I have the filter and oil, I thought if I got to take it to get the tires rotated anyway I may as well let them change it :D

The place is about 1/2 a mile from work, I just took it and was walking back and one of the powedercoat workers stopped and picked me up. That was nice of him!

We’ve got the same saw in our shop. Don’t use it for much except wide flat bar that doesn’t fit in our chop saws. Of course you better not need it too square!
We use a mister system to spray coolant on the cutting area to help with galling.
At home I’ve got a Jet horizontal with wet recirculating system built in but don’t use it too often.

Regarding the poll - Since both of my Toyota's are new, oil changes are included but I do my own for anything else.

Speaking of which, the Pilot is probably overdue for a lube swap.

Our Suburban oil has been changed twice, we've had it almost 2 years and it has 12K miles. First one was on the dealer. Second one was on us and I took it to the dealer, $74

I ran the number once for me to do it and have to deal with bringing the old oil in somewhere versus just letting the dealership do it. It was close enough for conventional oil that I might be swayed. But then I decided to start using full synthetic in the Pilot (2005 with about 110k).

It's $5 more ($17 to $22) for me upgrade to synthetic, the dealership adds $30 ($40 to $70).

I just picked my truck up, they charged me $20 to change it using my oil and filter, they also topped off the washer fluid. I don't mind paying them $20 so I don't have to deal with it and getting rid of the old oil.

Before it was a pain to get rid of my used oil but a new parts store was built nearby that takes it so it's a breeze.
