    • (Solved) Somehow the metal pin in the fuse box was pushed lower to where the fog relay couldn’t connect
•So I bought new fog lights to replace my stock ones and followed video instruction. Installed one side and tried testing to see if they work. When checking the new light it didn’t turn on but the stock one still did I tried flipping the connection multiple times but eventually my fog lights turned off completely to where they don’t even get power.
    • I tried putting a new fog relay and fuse in but nothing still.
    • I sent pictures to the company to see if I connected something wrong or if it was a malfunctioned product possibly but they said I had them installed correctly and to use a multimeter which I don’t have.
    • Please help.

Ahhh.... the 3rd gen is very fickle on voltage. Ecu's check for voltage flowing both ways and led's are its nemesis. Hopefully somebody here can help more than me.

Sometime resistors need to be installed to control voltage. This mainly happens with head lights and tail lights... give a search through the site, either use Google or the little magnifying glass up in the corner. I suggest Google and add "tacomaworld" to the end.

Not completely related to your fog lights, but i had a similar issue with my tail lights, eventually they decided to work for me, but the Tacos seem very temperamental when it comes to electrical. Good luck, hope your issue gets resolved.

Flipping the connections. Not good. You may have fried some fuses

Assuming the LED light you were testing wasn't bad, they may take a second to turn on. Sucks that you have to hope it turns on, hope you don't blow a fuse, or whatever the truck decides it will do while testing.

Which fuses for example? Cause the ones involving that circuit are all fine unless it’s one of them in the interior fuse box.

Yeah I’m not sure what to do since it’s not getting any power to them in general. It’s unfortunate since I followed the step by step process
