    I think I just took my last mid day/early afternoon mountain bike ride until November hits. I can still do mornings and late evenings at sundown, but I am not big on the heat. Working at a pool shop spoils me with the temperature we keep it for the chemicals. Those of you who have been out here for a long time have my respect. I'm off to Reno for school in fall and realistically the only thing I don't like about here is the heat for so many months of the year.

    It means that if I were looking for just clearance, I'd just take my hitch off...I'm not.

    I'll eventually go high clearance, but not today. Jeremy's was to be an interim solution, but since it needs the hitch to work, it has no value to me.

    And I carry my bikes on the side of my bed rack...
