I just added the OEM step to my rig and love it! My 59 year old knees approve! Install was not too bad doing it by myself, but putting the bolts back into the frame along with the step would go a lot easier with two people (one holding the step assembly while the other threads the bolts. Once you get the bolts threaded back into the holes, the rest is easy. Also, you will want a universal joint on the socket wrench as it is kind of a funky angle when tightening everything back up with the step now in place.

I need something like that for the front... I’m too short to reach the middle of my hood and windshield now :anonymous:

Simpler, more versatile, 300 lb rating, costs much less. Stores flat, lightweight.. Place/use it at tailgate up or down, working on engine, over bed sides, washing roof and windshield, assist passenger enter and exit, picnic seating. . .etc.

Got one myself, the OEM, really happy with it. I believe it saved my marriage... then again, perhaps I should remove it.

I think I’m holding out on this one till I turn 50. Pretty sure my kids would absolutely love it though.
