I was wanting to eventually black out my whole truck, been looking trying to find covers for the head and taillights with no luck, does anyone make em for the 2nd gen? And has anyone sprayed or used tint on their lights? May be a second option. Thanks.

Ignoring the logical aspects of why purposefully reducing your ability to see/be seen at night is about as stupid as it gets; Check your local laws regarding this. In some states it's illegal to use those tinted covers on your lights, same goes for the tint spray or film. Nothing worse than blatantly giving the local cops a reason to pull you over.

Thanks for sharing, I've never heard of extremeterrain.com the prices look great. Does anyone know if they are quality?

TRD Pro headlights are slightly smoked over standard OEM headlights.

The trim bezels are a dark chrome, yes. But the lenses are still clear, and reflectors still a bright chrome. That started with the TRD Sports back in 2009, I have those on my Taco.

Regardless, if it comes from the factory that way; it's legal. Adding tinted covers or painting them with spray; might not be legal in your state.

Having lived through the smoked head light, tail light craze of the 80s; please don't.

Saw ppl just avoiding, or not, things on the road at night back then. I took the approach that I'd rather you be looking at my bright tail lights than me looking at your dim tail lights.

The silver lining: their headlights were not as bright in my rearview mirror.

    But, you do you...

No idea, but you can do it to factory chrome headlights, a can of paint and extra butyl sealant is way cheaper and will keep the oem quality if done right
As far as the rear lights go I haven’t heard anything bad about aftermarket ones

Thanks for the info. My headlamp is cracked and moisture is covering the front of the lamp so in my case I will need to replace.

Darwin has a special award for those that put black out covers over their headlights/tails.

Instead I'd consider either the smoked Chrome TRD headlights, or the BHLM mod to black out the housing (but not the reflector), both have a darker appearance without negatively affecting output.

Stock OEM vs TRD smoked chrome

I bought tail lights that look exactly like those, and they work great. Mine came with the wiring harness and LEDS/lamps as well. Total plug and play.

As far as tinting the headlights, doing the BHLM goes a long way in getting rid of the chrome in the headlight assembly, and doesn't affect the output of the headlights.
