so i bought the set of trd lift shocks which will give 2" in the front. for the rear i wanted to get a little more than level so i went with a 1.25" block.

the block is tapered so it goes from 1.25" to 1.125" ....or about 1/8" drop

my question is...am i going to need some type of suspension shims?...or should i expect it to sit flush on the block or have gaps or what?....

i'm just trying to figure this thing out before i get it all tore apart...any help is greatly appreciated
    thanks!

It's to keep a decent pinion angle when lifting. Put the thicker end toward the back of the truck and it will point your pinion a bit up towards the transfer case. Although on anything with a wheel base longer than a wrangler that taper isn't as critical.

Correct no shims needed. Just install as mentioned above.
