Got the kit with the plug-n-play harness connector... it didn't work. I ran the wire along passenger side. Guessing I should splice with these posi-taps?
Has anyone else had this issue? Any input would be great as dang near everyone else in the world seems to not have problems with this working.

Awesome write up! Just what I needed to finally get the job done after a year of looking at the box in the garage… I untaped the wire looms that pass between bed and tailgate and stuffed the new wires in and taped it up nice and tight and everything fit in the original grommets/clips.

Spend the extra money and he the Toyota kit. The quality is MUCH better and it is entirely plug n play. Quality connections and wire sheathing, not these cheesy cheap connectors
