This is obviously your attempt at gag thread because if it isn't you would be locked in a medical facility where you would not be allowed to use the internet.

Yes, beat me to it! First thing in my mind. Haha.

    I’ve got a PRNODD21 in my car.

The OD and D thing always bothered me. Why not just PRND321. Ah well. D7EB6BBE-DF05-4512-94C2-540EC6E6FAC4.jpg

Yeah, it should be a vertical column like the way the volume buttons should be oriented. “L” at the top for “lots” and NM at the bottom for “Not Much.”

I always figured that the turn signal stalk was placed there because of manuals being the predominant configuration back in the day.

would be quite a challenge to hit your turn signal if it was located on the right side while you need to shift as well.

as for the up/down directionality...it lines up with the (counter)clockwise direction of the wheel as you turn.
what really gets me is the clock. why would i need to know what time it is when i have a watch and smart phone already? It should be a countdown so i can time my 0-60 while fully loaded.

Little of this, little of that.
Maybe the turn single switch should come out of the center of your steering wheel and you can use your mouth to toggle it.

I always thought the best transmission selector went like this 1-N-2-3-4-5-6 and was operated with your left foot.

I get confused by this too

My last ride didn't have this "reverse" mode.

I assumed it was the ctrl+Z of the car world. It was not.
