Did I find the correct brake controller plug?

    I took the drivers side kick panel off and found a plug that was plugged into something that seemed not to go anywhere. I have attached two pictures. Is this the correct plug?

    I'm sure I misplaced the pigtail that came with the truck so I need to buy another. I saw the P/N in another post.

    What would anyone recommend as the best to use? I believe the have one to mount under the seat with a handheld controller. Is that true?

    I don't think you did. look closer to the fire wall. Mine was taped up, shouldn't have a bracket on it

    The red circle is where mine is on my 14. If you look closely you can see the plastic sticking out of the tape on the lower right of the circle20210409_195720.jpg

    If you're looking for the other half of the plug (like Toyota supplied to be wired in) you can check your local parts stores if they have the pigtail. Or go to etrailer.com and they have either a complete harness or another pigtail
