Yes the gun metal gray would be perfect on my truck. I cannot believe just how helpful everyone has been on this site.
When I got my truck most everything was already on it from the original owner, the dealer put everything on that truck for him.
I was at the large pet store across from that dealer and came out and saw them putting it on the front line to sell it. I went right over and could not believe it only had 350 miles on it and was turned back in. The guy lost a ton of money turning it back in and the price they asked me for it was so low I could not say no and I have been so happy with it. Thanks so much!

Have you had your catalytic converter pipe replaced by the dealer yet? I think there was some sort of recall or TSB for it. You have low mileage so it might not matter, but it might be worth checking with the dealer. I think there was an issue with the insides of the cat coming loose. It should be a free replacement if it qualifies.

Yes, and for some reason here in California they recalled and replaced the entire exhaust system on that truck 2 years ago. And yes it did cost me anything.

    Thanks so much

Great looking little Taco Peter, and the added on stuff really classes it up also. I Love the little Tacos, Reg. cab or nothing for me. Mine also is a 2013, 2.7, auto., 4X4. Eng. is too weak, should have had a 4.0 V6 optional, but they didn't. Hopefully adding a throttle booster, this week, to hopefully improve the sluggishness a little. For me, Your wheels look better than the others in this thread. Silver, chrome, or alum. always look more classy than the dark ones. Just my 67 yr. old opinion.

Actually do not have a power problem with mine at 76 slow is ok. On these freeways in So. Cal. driving at 70 is turtle speed now days. But I love the great gas milage it gets compared to my Toyota Venza with the big V-6 it is terrible. Thanks for your input on the wheels most people like what I have but they have gotten stained from the oils and dirt on the road and it does not seem to come off no matter what I try. May I ask where you live just curious? It is interesting so far I still have not seen these Taco's out here, neither have the 3 dealer in this area.

I'm in Norene, TN. A neighbor here has a reg. cab 2013 just like mine but with a 5 spd. trans. The Reg cabs aren't really rare, just not near as popular as the longer cabs. That's why the last few yrs. of the reg. cab, they had very few available options. Toyota quit making them as they just didn't sell near as well as the long ones. All pick-ups have evolved that way. It seems things have just changed, even folks in towns want the longest 4 door widest dual wheeled trucks, even if they never haul anything but groceries. Hard for me to imagine as the little ones are so much easier to handle & get around in. Go figure.

My nephew lives in Antioch Tn.
and we have some very close friends that have been part of our ministry for 40 years in Cooksville. I grew up with my father in the Air Force and we lived all over the country as little kids but 7 years in Albany GA during the 1950's to 1961. I love the south very much, very beautiful. With my health issues the AT is what I need these days. There are thousands of Tacos in my area but no regular cab 4X4's and only 2 2X2's, they are all 4 door out here just a few extra cabs. I know that is what most people need the room but I am old school, way back, 2dr cars and trucks. Thanks for corresponding no else to talk to around here about trucks, no one cares.

"Norene, TN." between Antioch, TN. & Cookeville, TN., along side of the "Cedars of Lebanon State Park. We've lost our local Bank, but still have the General Store & a Post Office. We laugh at the folks who move out here, they want to come live in the country but just don't know how, sometimes pretty comical. Then they start bringing their city ways , that they were trying to get away from, out here with them & messing things up out here. Things just keep changing weather we like it or not. See Ya,

I guess from what I am seeing is there are a number of these 2013 4X4 Tacomas in the eastern part of the country and so far no other ones out here on the west coast. Therefore I would then presume that the only reason I have this one here is that the previous owner special ordered it?

Nope, nothing special about your truck other than it being a low volume production truck. Like I said 2013-2014 regular cabs only made up 10% total production and most of those went 2wd to auto parts stores and pool guys. 4wd ones there were more popular in the east north east and probably had greater dealer allocation of 4wd versions. In Sacramento and Bay Area I saw plenty of the 4wd regular cabs, maybe they are just not on here?

I was thinking about adding power windows to my truck, but everyone has told me not to do it, including the dealer? They all say they do not last, has anyone had any experience with adding power windows?

Same in in here East Outback, Kentucky. One and a half lane or less roads, no problem for the new folks. Hit the curves and sharp hills at forty, cell phone in one hand and Starbucks in the other. No matter what they take their half out of the middle. At least once a week, I see a fence that has suffered the insult of a fool. I slow way down and cling, bitterly, to the very edge of the road.

We had a small high end subdivision built here and before the summer was barely started the new residents wanted to stop the propane cannons from firing, dust from equipment also was a bother.

Here in California we have the fools that are moving your way that drive 90+ on the freeways and 50 in our neighborhoods. Yes they want to move out of California and to your small towns but they will bring their garbage with them.

Yep, we're laughing at them all the time. They can find a place out in the country, just don't know what to do with it when they get it. They want to come & live out in the country, but they just don't know how. I guess it would work both ways, I wouldn't have a clue as how to live in NEW YORK City, I'd be just as lost there as they are when they get out here.
