Passenger Windshield Pillar bolt cover plate

    While recently installing new dash speakers (Subaru), I managed to somehow 'mangle' (stretch to the point it lost its rigidity) the inch-long connector tab on the plastic bolt cover plate / trim piece. Please excuse my inarticulateness in describing this.

    Now that cover plate won't fasten securely. What are my options? Replace the cover plate (source)? Just glue the plate back into position?

    Yet another reason for me to forego DIY projects.

    A picture would be helpful in this situation. Are you referring to the plastic cover for the passenger A pillar? Is it part of the grab handle?
