I have a 2019 radio on my 2013. Everything was plug and play. Just need to trim the radio surround to fit the new radio.

Do you mind posting clearer pics? Wanna see how you trimmed the surround and how it sits in there thanks!

Dont wanna take it apart but these are the only pictures I have. It's only held on by 2 zip ties but it's on there pretty good. No movement or anything. I did have a little rubber piece on top of the radio as I originally thought I trimmed the top too much but I have since adjusted the radio and the gap isn't too bad so I took off the rubber piece.

Sorry I can't help you there as I don't have xm either. I did have to buy a gps antenna off of Amazon for like $8 to get the navi working.

Aside from the radio you'll need the radio surround and brackets from 13-15 to make it fit. I think the brackets from a 12 might work but not 100% sure on that.

    Thanks in advance :)

I am sorry Ryan, I went on Amazon and I think I order the wrong antenna, by any chance where did you get yours? I can't find a gps with the right connector.

I chickened out on this. I have a 2017 OEM headunit sitting on my work bench. I had the 2015 unit out, looked at what had to be cut on the bezel and the lack of an overlap to cover up the cut lines and said nope. Put the 2015 unit back in feeling defeated, I don't have the balls to cut the factory bezel to pieces and have it held in by zap straps.

I felt the same at first which is why I originally tried buying another radio surround in case I messed up it wouldn't be too bad but someone on here was nice enough to give me one for free. As for the cut lines they're actually not that noticeable but that may be because I swapped out my trim pieces to black. Surprisingly the zip tors has held up pretty good, I've had it on for over a year now and hasn't budge. I really wanted navi and a family member gave me the unit so it was too hard to pass up the opportunity.

Damn if going through all that trouble, why not go aftermarket?

I was given the radio from a family member who upgraded their 3rd gen with an aftermarket and I saw someone here do it before so I figured it was worth a shot, wasn't that complicating either.

Does the USB port still work as well as the steering wheel controls. I am very interested in doing this I just need to find a radio.

Yes the usb and steering wheels control works. Ebay is the cheapest place I've seen them. Somewhere around $100.
