Mine should be arriving in a week or two
For anyone that’s ordered one did it come with attachable coloured letters, either vinyl or plastic?
I don’t want to wait until it arrives to find out, I can order some Tufskins and hopefully get them before the skid plate does. Seems like it would be a hell of a lot easier to put the letters on before the skid plate is on the truck.

I bought one a couple months ago from my local dealership. Came with the red lettering.

I don’t think they sell the one without the lettering, but I could be wrong.

    The skid for the 17-18 (P/N PTR6035160)
was superseded by the one with the red inserts (P/N
    PTR6035190).
I tried to order the old non letter insert skid when I was looking for mine and they were very scarce so I ended up with the newer style with the red letter inserts.

Same here and this was 2-3 years ago at this point. I ordered using the old part number and the new one arrived in its place.

The shame is that even though the letters are stuck on with adhesive, there are still posts that poke through holes in the plate.

Since I didn’t like the bright red letters I used Tuffskinz Turbo Silver letters to replace the red.

If you are using a differential drop you will have to lengthen the spacers that come in the kit. At least in my case.

Check to make sure all your fasteners are there when you receive it. A lot of us had bolts go MIA during shipment.

Looks good, was it hard to remove the red letters with the posts? I’m going to order the matte black.

Not at all. A plastic trim tool made quick work of it. Then just saturate the debossed area with soapy water and fit the letters in.

My stock letters came out in good shape if I ever wanted to go back.
