Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

I had a Southbay driveline for a while. Bent that one too. Ended up getting a fresh stock one off a 2020 in our wrecker yard to replace it. On my 4th driveshaft. Lol

 

There is one in fairfield. Dude will do whatever you ask. Think he just goes by "the alignment shop"

 

For this one, to remove the rear drive shaft, all I need to do is disconnect the rear flange and pull it out. I don't need to separate it at the u-joints and carry a u-joint tool to put in a spare; or carry a spare of the entire rear driveline to avoid the pain of u-joint disconnection/connection. I'm going to have him build me a spare too. To do a trail repair it will be four bolts, pull out, grease, put spare in, four bolts, torque, and done.

 

Anyone familiar with Chamberlain/LiftMaster garage door openers? I have a Chamberlain Formula 1 belt drive opener. Need to replace the trolley and the arm that connects the door to the trolley. Trying to track down just how involved it would be.

Also, if anyone has a spare door/hatch for a Leer 100R (1st gen DC) laying around in the storage bin let me know.

Similar experience at Moscone center in SF. Got my second shot this morning, 21 minutes from walking in the door to walking out.

 

I drove the whole way. Never got out of the truck. None of this walking shit

But good to hear your experience was efficient as well.

Ripped the cap door clean off damaging the door opener arm and trolley. Shocked the glass was intact and undamaged after that impact. Cap door frame is bent to hell but have already removed the glass and will try to bend the frame back into place. Have found a replacement hinge online for $90 but may just see if I can salvage this one.

Will try Campways tomorrow and see if I can order a new frame. Probably tell me nope but worth a shot.

 

Seems like you want to check the garage door for its stopping ability as well.
