    I grew up in Eureka CA. And then lived for several years in Crescent City. Both in the redwoods. If you have time to head south, there is some incredible spots all the way down to California. Gold Beach is at the border. Then Jedidiah Smith state park. And one of my all time favorites at Patrick’s Point south of Crescent City. There is camp sites there and while the hike to Agate Beach is long, it’s an incredible secluded section of Nor Cal Beach. There are also several Native American Ceremonial Ricks that you can explore. Looks like it’s open according to their website.
