    I have wanted a Tacoma for a while now and was able to get one a couple of weeks ago. It has the Super White paint and I just heard they do not clear coat this color. Is that correct and why would they not do a clear coat?

    I have heard the same thing about white. Any reason is just speculation but some say it's Toyota just being cheap, some say it's due to white being used as fleet vehicles, some say white is a base coat and doesn't need clear coat like colors do. When I bought my Super White and heard this I was a little perturbed. I don't think I've heard of anyone complaining about paint problems though. I figure a good waxing a couple times a year is going to make it last until I raptor coat it anyway.

    Hi I have a 2020 SR5 super white as loaded as I could find and yes no signals on my mirrors either. May be a 2021 option.

    I believe the Trail edition which is basically an SR5 comes with the mirror signals. I've seen them on previous model years of SR5's but they aren't currently and option.

    My truck is 13 years old . I wash by hand using 2 bucket method . I also have a DA polisher I just started using for polish and wax . Clay bar always before polishing or waxing .
