I can't seem to find any in my area to go check out. If your in the greater Boston area and have one I can look at I'd very much appreciate a chance to see it in person.

    Thank you

I don't think I've seen anyone on here w/ one of those models mentioned. I'm in the market for a wolfpup 16bhs as well. Right under 4000 lbs loaded, the Tacoma ought to pull it around like a champ!

Just bought a 2017 wolf pup toy haler (rp) I drove it 300 km on generally flat ground with my 2018 Tacoma. The Tacoma is stock, outside of some mud tires and a canopy.

on the way to pick it up I was averaging 12.2 liters /100 km. on the way back (with trailer) I was getting 23 liters/100km. I don't know how to convert that into nonsense freedom units, but the point is my mileage was cut in half. - ouch!

The tacoma manual says I need to put a weight distribution and Sway bar on it so I will buy those today. However, that shouldn't impact mileage. The truck generally wanted to rev at 4000 which is annoying and I don't know if that's not good for the the engine.

also, read your manual! Manual says use ECT power, and DONT use D, the says, "if" in S, do not go higher than 5th gear.
