    Yup, I did. The write looks very detailed. I’m curious how much in total this cost.

    Hopefully this will inspire more people to do the conversion and reduce the “it’s cheaper and easier to just trade in your truck” comments.

    Well, it ruins the resale value!

    I did my conversion 6 yrs ago. My truck was only a 1-1/2 yr old with 28k miles at the time. Even then, I was able to source all the parts with roughly the same mileage for less than the taxes on a new truck. Did the work myself and the rest is history. Still going strong over 100k later.

    I think the conversions come out better than stock since you fix several of the issues with the stock 4wd system (4wd ECU and FJ t-case upgrade).

    I have been in both clubs and can say I prefer the Non ADD club. If there's no electronics, it can't electrically fail!

    Did you read my guide? Lol i was in the same boat as you but I just put the wires one by one like it says and it worked! Super easy actually, hard part is running all those wires through the firewall

    Can not get clearer than this, I guarantee that. Just tag every cable to ID it if you’re going to be using same color cable.
