    Hey guys,

I’m a new taco owner and I like the looks of roll bars, but what’s their purpose?

The purpose of a roll bar is to prevent the passenger cab from crushing, injuring passengers, in the event of a roll over (truck turns upside down).

The roll bar should be able to withstand at lease 2X the truck weight and be attached to the frame.

If you want to get serious about a roll bar, then look up the requirement for a ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure).

Don't see how it could be effective with out holes in the plastic bed for the roll bar.
