Maybe try a plastic or vinyl restoring product. See if that might help?

Looks to me like some of those are scratches, some are water spots, and some are stains. Try white vinegar diluted 50/50 with distilled water then clean good with any automotive all purpose cleaner you have on hand.

Its expensive, but GYEON quartz Q2 Trim works awesome. Otherwise try 303 or meguiar’s ultimate protectant

I would suggest changing your title to something slightly more appropriate and less alarmist.

Good luck with your water spot issue.

Edit: although I realize you're in the correct thread area, you still show up on the home page. Just my .02.

The forum reserves Help in titles for genuine emergency situations like being stuck off road, etc that require immediate assistance. Just a friendly suggestion to edit your title.

There’s plastic trim restoration products that wipe on. I’d give that a try.

Just be careful with "wipe on" products. Many of them (like 303 Aerospace Protectant, Back to Black, etc.) look great when you first wipe them on. The first time you hit them with a hose, rain, etc, though, they roll right off.

Solution Finish is what you need for the rubber trim. It's not a protectant. It actually redyes the trim to black. It's super easy to use and you don't need to remove the trim from the vehicle, or tape off any paint or glass surfaces. It will wipe right off of those surfaces as long as you wipe it off as you go and don't let it dry. This video will tell/show you everything you need to know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrxhAEDCchM

No problem. It also works on ALL black trim, not just the rubber.

I started using Ethos products when i got my truck about a year and a half ago. I use defy and resist. They work well. Drfy is a waterless wash. If my truck isn't too dirty it takes me about 20 minutes to do my truck with both. You can use defy on windows too. Just my 2 cents and what wotks for me.
