Hey y'all! I'm excited to say that I'm finally a Tacoma owner!

My post is a bit late, but i bought a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB Sept of last year and am IN LOVE with this truck. Kinda bummed that the dealership jerked me around and lead me to not getting one with the tech/prem package, but I love my Taco none the less.

Meet Griselda (no clue where the name came from, but it popped up and stuck haha )
    Grisy_Main.jpg

    Mods installed:

    • Decked bed drawers
    • Skycamper iCamp Mini
      • Benefits of a fold-out RTT in terms of space with the bonus of being hard shell (drag/aerodynamics)
    • aFe Momentum GT CAI w/ Dynamic Air scoop
      • Gives it a nice intake growl
    • An awning of some sort
Plans are for some light overland camping, heading out to fun MTB trails (new to it but love it), and having the ability to bugout to the wild if I want to just get away.

Any criticism/advice for what I have or what I'm considering is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for sharing this De Taco!

I have been looking at some delete kits for the rear for reasons similar to what this product ultimately serves, but never committed because i want to retain the seats if i need them. Im curious, does this just serve as a flat surface for when the seats are folded down?? Do you also keep the cubby behind them? I've been looking at the OEAudio reference 500 kit to upgrade my audio system, and it makes use of the 40% cubby for the small sub woofer.

If all things above check YES, then I'm likely to get this. haha. I wonder if the manufacturer has considered doing a full 60/40 cover too, rather than offering just 100% or 60%.

    Enough rambling from me.

    Thanks again for sharing!

Yes, folds flat. Yes the cubby is there, and I know there is a split version.

here’s a crappy picture of the 3TPAM installed. I’ve got an X Grip for my phone and my iPad on there thus far. Might move them around and add another for a radio when I get my HAM license.

Installed the prinsu cab rack today! Attached some photos with it, my side steps, and the grill lights illuminated.

this is Griselda’s current state as far as it goes for exterior mods.

Waiting on CBI to ship the light bar mounting brackets, as they were unfortunately forgotten when the rack was delivered.

    OP UPDATED!

Got my SnugTop put on and I LOVE IT

Also go the light bar installed but not connected. I'm not the most privy to wiring, and I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get the harness routed without cutting/drilling, so it's just kinda there. To boot, I'm none too pleased with how the Prinsu mounts work with this particular bar. It's too low in relation to the cutout and gets covered by part of the front air dam of the cab rack. I realize I can simply flip the brackets to have them pitch upward, but then the bar is above the line of the rack itself, and I'd like to keep it below in case i have something large i want to put up there that would otherwise need the space in front of it and above the light bar, i.e. an RTT or larger storage cases

Anyone that has some advice on the harness routing and how to wire my large push switch, please let me know!

    UPDATE:

My AlphaRex NOVA headlights came in and I got them installed. LOVE the look of these things. adds such an aggressive feel to the front of this truck.

Only concern is the fact that there is one more plug from the stock harness that doesnt seem to have a home on these lights, and with it the DRL's dont seem to come on on the first click of the light switch, only the second now...

    IMG_0490(1).jpg

Here's comparison with new light on passenger side, and stock on driver.

Griselda got some dancin' shoes. She’s a bit more ready for some light off-roading. BFG 185/70/17 R121 E1 (they didnt have any C's in stock) on Black Rhino Armory Sierra 17" +12 offset
    [IMG]

Now i gotta do some work. Remove Air Dam, Remove Front Mud flaps, and Relocate front outside fender liner bolt (forward)

also added some Prinsu Ridgeline Handles to the Cab Rack for some leverage when putting stuff up/taking stuff down.
