First Taco

Long time lurker on the forum figured it was time to join in the best way. Made the purchase of my first Toyota/ Tacoma/ Brand new vehicle a couple weeks ago. Was researching for a while and was looking at some double cabs but like most stealershios right now supply is limited. Lot had a 2017 Pro I was looking at test driving, had 36kish miles, but was Manual, and not something that I wanted but just wanted to test to see if I would want order one in AT. It was sold in a few days before I could get there the following weekend. Spotted this one was on the pre owned lot (2500mimust’ve just put it out)got o looking at it and it already had a few mods on it, not sure if installed there or what but guessing so from what the salesman told me but I let what they say go in one ear and out the other. Test drove it down some rougher roads in our area and this thing felt so nice didn’t notice the potholes or bumps etc. interior was comfortable, the silver color is gorgeous the way it looks just popped out at me, never purchased a “brand new” (though pre owned it is still brand spanking) vehicle and this is everything I wanted and totally worth it to me.

Sounds like a sweet color combo, my sister, mom, and GF all have 2018 CRVs. Great vehicles! I upgraded to this truck from an 06 Civic I got from my mom that she bought new. 260k miles and I still use it as a DD.

 

We passed her 2006 CRV to my son. He loves it (working AC!) and when we had the snowstorm in Austin, TX for a week that AWD just kept going!
My wife had forgotten about the "rear table" the cover of the cargo area (rear tire was mounted on the rear door) popped out. Four legs, the handly little table I used when tailgating. Sigh her 2021 didn't come with that handy table!

Welcome! Love the color! Kinda wish I could have found a used ACLB myself. Nothing was even close to reasonably priced in my area at the time.

Maybe I missed it, but did this one end up being a manual or automatic? I thought I heard they stopped making a manual with a long bed? Or maybe I'm mistaken and they just don't make the DCLB with manual.

 

This one is an AT, I personally didnt want a MT but was initially gonna test drive the pro that was on the lot with it.
