It might be I’m just bad a researching things, but I’m wondering if anyone know knows if the 2nd and 3rd gen have the same sway bar and if it matters if it’s the I4 or V6. I’m also wondering if the 4th or 5th gen 4Runner share the same sway bar as the Tacos and if the FJ has the same sway bar as well since Toyota likes to use as much of the same stuff as possible.
    Thanks.

Typically each year of Tacoma has 2 sway bars, usually pre-runner vs 4wd. 2nd gen sway bars are compatible with 3rd gen.

4runner is different and only compatible with FJ, both are Prado Landcruiser based.

If you want to upgrade handling look at adding a rear sway bar.
