I’ve decided it’s time to upgrade my suspension as my leaf springs have reached the end of their sad lives.

this is everything I’m thinking about going with for my new set up and just wanted some opinions before I pull the trigger.

    1. ICON RXT leaf springs
    2. ICON 2.0 aluminum series rear shock
    3. OME 90021 front struts
    4. OME 887 coils
    5. SPC upper control arms

there’s other goodies I’m purchasing along with all of this like 3° axle shims and I’ve decided since I’m going this far I’m going to be doing the lower control arms as well. I’ve already replaced wheel bearings and done the driveline, center support and ujoints. As well as a lot of other much needed maintenance.

currently I’m on 5100s maxed out, stock control arms and some toytec rear boss shocks but they are more blown out than a lady of the night. And a 1.5” lift block. Rides like garbage. So looking forward to something that won’t ride like garbage. This truck sees a lot of mud, sand, some mild off-roading and gravel roads that are just washed out everywhere 69280F5B-9E8C-4712-8DC1-2E505B0ED309.jpg

i have had very good experience with the RXT springs over the last couple years.
    i'm option 2 carrying between 400# & 500# with a full camping load.
for me the ride is great unloaded while daily driving, or loaded for off-road camping.

I have about 250# of tools in my box at all times, I also haul around parts for the equipment I work on heads blocks stuff of that nature so this is good news!
I was thinking about doing opinion 2 but wasn’t sure about the unloaded daily driving ride

how much lift did you get out of it I think icon says 2.25? And how were they after they settled? Any squeaking like we hear about the OME leafs

@Icon_Adrian can you help me out bud if it’ll be alright to run the
Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.0 Aluminum Series Rear Shock - 56515
From what I can see they are good for 3” of lift. I’d be running stock bump stop
