TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

So after thinking about it, and comparing pricing with other options out there. If anyone is interested in some welding services I’ll do spindle gussets and the double shear kit for the boosted brethren.

I’m gonna push towards the JD fab products as of the 3 different brands I’ve welded on for people theirs have been the best fitting and best designed by far. They are also the only ones that offer the double shear steering kit. But I will do Total Chaos or Dirt King gussets if anyone already has them sitting around or decides to go with them for one reason or another.

Im thinking pricing as follows:
Spindle gussets - $175
JD fab double shear kit - $175
Both at the same time - $250

Pricing includes the welding services, paint, and shipping back to you. You need to pay for shipping here obviously and you will be responsible for providing all the parts. You are welcome to have gusset kits shipped directly to me if you want but I don’t want to deal with quoting for the parts, tax, shipping snd what not.

I can promise a 2-3 day turn around time for shipping back to you. I’d say 2 but sometimes I get deliveries as late as 8-9pm so give me the extra day to get it done and boxed back up.

Lastly as an added incentive, if I can get at least 4 people committed with a $50 deposit I’ll cut $25 off your total. Probably cover most if not all of your shipping cost to get parts to me. @XPOTRPR sorry you are excluded from this as you are getting some circumstantial and future business opportunities discounts this time around.

Beef up one of the weak points in your front end with some awesome gussets.

 

Just trying to keep peoples trucks from getting wrecked. Also gotta pay for race truck parts.

Ghetto shackles and upper pivots locked in the geometry for about 19” of travel.


And designing the fancy stuff to build and keep up on my solidworks.



Then to start the tundra axle swap after picking up my diff from Zuk and axles from @XPOTRPR this weekend.

 

I have a spare 2015 AT ecu with TRD tune if anyone’s interested.

Nah no links. Just reworking the leaf setup to flip the shackles and ditch the low hanging shackle hanger. Tired of dragging and bending it in the rocks. At least this way the shackle can cycle up and move out of the way.

Nah just a play toy still. I will be racing in the cinders drags next month hopefully, but no big off road races.

I'm thinking I'll be getting my info today, tomorrow at the latest. I came up with a plan though.. get the truck back to the house after the adjuster takes a look and cuts me a check.. I'll start ordering parts and have them sent to you. Since I already have new tires waiting.. and have a full size spare anyways.. I'm hoping to use the credit they give me for a replacement wheel and tire in conjunction with the rest and get a new pair of spindles with the works.

interesting... I debated doing that for awhile but ended up getting the BAMF but then got a deal on the Archive regular set. just need to put it on.

 

I love seeing all the JD Fab comments as they are a local shop and one of my options for when I want to cage my truck.

 

They are cranking out some awesome products and by far by favorite gussets to weld.
