Making a roof rack for my 3rd gen Tacoma and have seen threads on the bolts used for the stock bolt holes. I see they are M6 19.77 bolts. since I will be putting spacers in, the length is not so much the issue.

I am wondering what the thread pitch is and when I was a the local hardware store, majority of the bolts they have are stainless but I am wondering if they are the right tensile strength for automotive use?

Are the front bolts the same length as the rear or is one longer than the other?

I based my questions off this picture I found in another thread.
