Luggage rack on roof

Just started to look at these and want to know is the luggage basket on roof removal?
I need a 4 wheel drive and I like the green color, so that will narrow down the search.
I have a 19 Tacoma I will trade Carvanna tells me they will give me 26 K, there is less then 5k on the truck and perfect shape..

 

I don't know that I've ever seen a 4Runner with a stock "basket" on the roof.

The factory rack (as far as I've seen) is two rails on either side of the roof with a pair of moveable cross-bars. Any basket that's mounted to the factory rack is almost definitely removable, but there are a number of different after-market racks and baskets that are probably too variable to have a single yes/no answer to your question.
