What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Where'd you end up getting it from? I'm needing to do this as well, my paint job on the factory chrome is starting to look pretty haggard.

 

I bought it from ebay, decent price. It's primer black and I'm debating on giving it good clear coat after I clear out the center. I'm on the fence.

I had to give the archive bushing swap a test today at our shop. I’d say it’s quite the difference. Can’t wait to really test it out.

 

Replaced old headlights and installed driving lights on my newly acquired 2010 with only 23K miles.!!!

 

This was exactly why I ordered it. I have a softopper and can't see shit out of my back window. I previously did the backup camera anytime mod but that was useless for anything past 6' behind me. Got it installed today and am really impressed. I'm not syked about the rubber straps but that is just temporary until the dedicated mirror mount arrives.

 

I mounted my rear camera to the top of my license plate frame. The camera can pan up and down for adjustment from the screen inside (such a cool feature). Wiring wasn't too difficult but I made things more complicated than I needed to for my own OCD.

 

I previously built a fused power tray so I ran the constant power and ground there, and the switched power to the under hood fuse panel.

Brown Santa brought my UpTop Overland Bravo EX rack for my topper! Got it put together and installed.

 

Threaded up a Wheelskin and replaced the gray Scosche dash kit with a black one.

 

How is the LED intensity in comparison to the OEM switch lights? Does the dim functionality work well? Thanks!

 

looks like on mine the two junctions are taped into the harness behind the fuse panel and stacked one above the other w/green/white on the bottom.

 

Washed it and the bed and the motor. And changed the oil. Now to figure out the god awful odor inside a spotless interior. Smells like death.

Yeah I’ve gone over the truck with a fine tooth comb and can’t find anything. Started smelling like two days ago and I keep the interior spotless.
