There’s always people who are beyond normal comprehension. They find it satisfying to troll and upset other people. They love to argue . I just block them . Hope they are happy and find blessing on what they’re doing. Keep up the great work @OVTune .

Good to know. Although I've yet to hear PapaRee revoke anyone's license after the fact (in reference to a thread from last week) like you did to another member of this site. Obviously it's only a matter of time until there is a competitor to VF Tuner. Yes, your potential customers are paying attention to such outbursts.

I don't mean to single you out, trust me there is another vendor on this site I won't do business with because of how he treats customers (and potential) customers on this site.

Do you have any, any, any actual facts, information, or literally any relevant information on why that users free license was revoked? Have you read our ToS?

or you just going to take that persons (a KNOWN TROLL) word for it that we revoked his license because we don't like him? Which is absolutely false. I should sue the guy for libel. He knows why his license was revoked.

Just for the record, I'm curious about what led you to believe that Paparee, a user of vF which does not belong to him (as a whole) and of which he is not a developer or admin of, has the ability to revoke vF licenses? He does not license anybody, nobody but Mat/OV/VF does.

I'm basing my opinion solely on how you reacted (and are still) reacting to that person.

    How should I react?

Better question, how would YOU react when you have dealt with someone who bought a product from you, trolled for i dunno probably 2 years?, and then goes around bragging about trying to steal information from your product, and then when you take his product away (rightfully) he says you did it because you don't like him?

All the while you gave him that product for free.

For the record, the only thing he actually ever purchased from us was a flash kit license. Not even a flash kit. He still has that license, still has his tune files, etc.

    Papa cannot revoke anything though.

Also, I agree with the revocation, unless something changed since the last time I read that thread. (Let us end that here. If it must be continued to discuss, then discuss in the original thread [if it still exists] and not hijack this thread).

I think Mat is doing great. If I had to make a suggestion to him, I'd say he should troll the trolls. Turn the seriousness down a bit during those times. I've seen he's got a sense of humor, just not used as often as he should. Maybe the stress of a one man operation? Either way, I've never had an issue or bumped heads with him, and that goes for a lot of members here and other forums he visits.

You clearly don't have the full facts if you are defending the behavior of the guy who got the license revoked that he got for free btw.

Good for Matt, the customer or in this case the guy who got it for free, is not always right and people need to stop bitching when there are consequences.

Always makes my chuckle when people expect business owners to bend at their every whim and demand when they are clearly in the wrong, let alone when they got something for free. Defending people like this is just as bad.

In answer to your question, I would have reacted in a more professional manner. Idle threats of lawsuits and bragging are doing nothing for your reputation and actually are making you look like nothing more than a bully.

I'm not in the business of selling products so I can't speak to what I would do if someone trashed something I sold after the fact. I do believe that once a person buys a product, he should be able to do what he wants with it but that's not what we're talking about here. Your reaction to that person and to the others who are complaining of an over-due update really are not shining you in a good light. I really hope you take the advice of another member on this site and hire a Brand Manager.

I have no problem with a person protecting their IP and hard work. Rather I have a problem with how this person is going about it. It's cost him this customer. Will it cost him others? I don't know and really don't care. Personally I'm very particular on who I choose to spend money with.

Software is always an exception to what you paid for. For instance, if you buy an online only game, the owners reserve the right to remove the servers at any time. That $60 you spent is now worthless. Sure, you "own" the game, but it's no longer usable. That's just how things work.

That may be and I'm fine with that. I'm not a fan of supporting bully's or people who make idle threats about suing people for Libel.

This will be my last post on this topic. Anyone who feels compelled to is free to PM me.

But the fact that almost no one else feels that way doesn't make you want to reassess the situation that you might be wrong, or do you think this is just a site of members that like bullies and people who make idle threats?

That's a perfectly reasonable decision to make. And if you want KDs tune, get it! I want nothing more than for the people using vf tuner to succeed.

I'm not bullying anyone and not making threats, I don't even understand how you came to such a conclusion honestly.

There's more people than u might think. I get PM's from people that are unhappy but don't voice their opinions because people will dogpile and they don't feel like dealing with the drama.

we get it, you're not happy. Take your ball and go home. Ignore this thread as it has no actual impact on your life. Go play catch with your kids, take your wife or significant other on a nice vacation. Don't fret the small stuff. It's really not that deep. @OVTune doesn't need you as much as you don't need him.

I have several hundreds of PMs from people who are happy. My inbox has 800+ PMs in it right now. It's not a competition. I get daily messages and emails from people who love and enjoy the products we make. I wouldn't still be here if it was half as bad as some of these people want others to believe it is.
But is it everyone? No. That's impossible.

Some of the biggest businesses in the world have thousands, hundreds of thousands of unhappy customers. (comcast, Xfinity, microsoft, etc etc etc). But the vast majority (several millions) are happy customers.

It's just the fact there will always be some happy, some unhappy. We have continually done the best we can to provide everyone reasonable service, tunes, software, continued support and updates.
Some people think they should have more. Some don't.
Some people think our best isn't good enough, and some people will truly never be happy no matter what we give them or don't give them.

I cannot make everyone happy. I have tried.

Some people will never be convinced. That's ok, and perfectly reasonable.
