I might briefly show up this morning. I have yard chores that need a doin', but I wouldn't mind gathering ideas about tuning a suspension for towing.

It sucks when an easy 45 minute brake pad job turns into a 2.5hr shitshow. The last lug nut did not want to cooperate upon removal. Truck was blocking the Supra in the garage, so I had to ride my bicycle to O'Reillys. Prying on the wheel while giving it the full beans with the Dewalt and it finally came off.

Anybody with a roof rack ever had any issues with those automatic car washes with the spinning brush things? My truck desperately needs a bath, but I’m too busy (lazy) to mess with all that goes into hand washing it...

I got the email to sign up for trails a the Toyota Jamboree. For those who are going, is anyone else signing up for trails or are you just going to wheel around?

I'm still not pushing my truck too hard. I'll get it dirty but I don't want to break anything. It's my daily.

I'm also planning on camping on site. I guess that I will just try to find y'all when I get there. I plan on leaving home after my son gets out of school, on Friday. He is out about 4:30. I'm expecting to get there between 7:30 and 8pm. Hopefully, I can get he and his buddy moving.

I usually end up tail gunning or leading when there's a no-show, and I'll be at the gate early Thursday and Friday.

Also don't plan to break my truck, but it doesn't always work out that way.

I never sign up for the guided runs, but I know which trails I will or won't do. It might be a good if you don't have a lot of wheeling experience or never been to Barnwell. They end up taking longer just trying to get a line of vehicles through an obstacle before you move on to the next one, so you stop and wait a lot.

How old are the kids? I'm not sure who's camping where (including myself), but it's probably more family friendly up towards the front and near electric camp. I'm expecting to arrive early Friday.

I have wheeled a bit. Or more like, I wheeled a lot when I was younger and stupid. Most of that was around the desert southwest. I took a break from it while the kid has been growing up. My son and his buddy are both 15 now and they both have taken an interest, along with my renewed interest, in wheeling. Now I'm just old and stupid.

I have never been to Barnwell. I've been wanting to go and check it out.

It's been over a year since I've been to Barnwell, but skid plates and sliders should be enough for any of the 1-2.5 rated trails out there. That's about the extent of what I'll put my truck through because it has to get me to work on Monday morning.
