I'm at my wits end....this has probably been posted before but....
I installed the pro grill on my 2018 and yes had to move the POS sensor. After watching several YouTube videos I tried to adjust so the fault would go away. I'm up to 4 washers to try to level the sensor .But still getting the fault usually after I drive about 10 miles. Anyone have any advice on what else I can do ?

Are you lifted? Front bumper? Are you running the garnish? if so is it OEM? Aftermarket?

Not sure if it's lifted, but dose have bigger tires on it. I just checked the website where I got it and it says OEM style garnish. Would one from the dealer be better?

I am just wondering if the garnish is interfering with it. You said it comes on after like 10 minutes of driving? Are you using the cruise control when the error comes up or is it just freaking out while driving? You can disable the adaptive cruise and just use "old school" cruise control but obviously take my comment with a grain of salt. If it is causing a safety concern you can always take it in to a dealership and have them re-calibrate it. Might cost you $100 bucks but the peace of mind would be worth that. Who did you order the grill thru? Maybe put a post up for other purchasers of the same company and see how they did it and don't have an error.

I'm pretty sure the genuine Toyota garnish is the one you want. The knock-offs don't work sometimes. I hear they're fetching top dollar for them at the dealers, though. The genuine one comes wrapped in paper rather than a box. Got mine on Ebay a couple years ago

I dont use the cruise control unless I'm on 95 and that very seldom. Don't like to disabled it (even though I think the idea of having it part of cruise control is BS) I got my grill from toyota pro shop it's a nice grill I think .Contacted them and they sent me a link to a video using the washers. As far as the cost of the factory garnish I'm not concerned as long as it works . I will get one and see if that makes a difference.

Here is what I did with my 19 with a knock off grill and garnish. Install the sensor without any washers. Use a socket to push the lock washer thing down firm. There should be no space and no movement, that's what will cause a problem. The sensor reads movement or anything that gets in-between the sensor and the garnish as a problem. Make sure your cable has been plugged in carefully and there is no moisture and it's not being pulled. Clear the codes with a reader or by disconnecting the battery. don't do either of those things with he sensor disconnected. Mine has had zero problems. I use the adaptive cruise all the time.

I think most of the problems are caused by a loose sensor or garnish which the sensor reads as a problem.

Ok,I've watched the videos read what people said they have done. I put washers behind the top screw went up to 4 no change. Fault keeps coming back. Now I have two washers and can drive between 6 and 10 miles before the fault pops up. I also seated the retaining lock washers that hold the garnish on. I replaced the garnish with an OEM one (off ebay so the verdict is out on that one ).
I bought my pro grill from Toyotapro shop looks good. But this problem is starting to get bothersome. I'm stumped that I read and watch videos of people doing the fix to solve this and presto problem is gone.
So dose anyone have a suggestion that I haven't heard of or done yet. Will disconnecting the battery help?

At this point your best bet would likely be to take it to Toyota and pay to get re-calibrated.

Want to thank everyone for their suggestions. It took me awhile but I got it straightened out. After putting washers in and out I came across a YouTube video where the guy put a lock washer for a spacer. I tried it and it worked. The lock washer is just a hair thicker than the flat washer. The size I used was a 10-24 lock washer.
    Again thank you.
