Wanted to know your guy’s opinion on the Total Chaos Upper Control Arms. My brothers girlfriend had them on her 4runner, and she mentioned that they squeak a lot, especially when it’s cold. Should this be something to expect also and has anyone else had this problem. Also, would i be better off getting a little bit cheaper set of ball joint uppers from another brand or just getting the TC UCAS?

If they squeaked they don't have enough grease on the bushings, there is a specific way to grease the bushings you can't just pump grease into them, you have to take the torque off the bolt and allow things to move freely.

It's also possible that the unit ball is squeaking, it needs maintenance as well you have to take time to clean it and lubricate it it's recommended to use Superlube synthetic grease on the bushings and Superlube synthetic oil on the uniballs.

I have the All Pro off-road ones, but they are legitimate straight clones of the total chaos arms. I got them because I got a hell of a deal on them, but I'd say total chaos has a better brand reputation as well as from the other total chaos parts I have better welders.

So in short I would highly recommend them but understand that they are not maintenance free like the OEM upper control arms they do need work and upkeep.

Really solid UCAs. TC told me uniball does not require lube, only keep it clean. The bushings I lube every 6 months or 6500 miles (when I do my oil change), or before a big trip. They may make a little noise once in a while, but its no big deal to me.
