Key cylinder locked up, replaced with generic from parts house. Now it will turn over, but won't start. Any suggestions?

Take your old cylinder to a locksmith and have them rebuild it for around 50 bucks. Until then, take your old key and place it near the key slot before you try and start it.

Take the new lock cylinder to a locksmith to have it rekeyed to your old keys, or have your truck programmed to the new keys that came with the new lock cylinder.
