Currently only available is the ATI Super Damper. I have that because the Fluidampr wasn't available.

The fluidampr would be the way to go imo due to just the engraved sfi rating on it vs just a sticker on the ati. I might get one for my turbo 1gr.

    wow
glad to have just learned about ATI super damper
from my research just now unfortunately they don't seem very good or as good as FluidAmpr
    I wonder if that's why it's cheaper
it also looks just merely metal and "tuned" rather than filled with silicone that can move/adjust to damp in real time as a counterweight
edit:nvm I see Super Damper claims it has an inner, outer, and steel inertia weight

I reached out to FluidAmpr to ask their thoughts and they said to consider engineering one to fit the Tacoma, to justify the R&D cost, they'd need 100 interested people.
So I guess that makes at least 3 of us for now/to start lol

Makes sense. It took a lot of people to make the ClutchMasters HydroTOB happen.
A lot of people in on the cam gears group buy too; thread is like 80 pages now.

    Thanks, but no.

$300 can supply many NEEDED things in a Covid suppressed economy. The WANTS must supply a clear advantage or solve a problem before the spend is justified.

As an engineer, I see no practical need on a daily driver type of vehicle. Competition level vehicle, probably.

Good luck gathering 100 to support the development.

As an engineer myself I will disagree. I always like improving upon a foundation to meet a end goal. I agree $300 can supply people with things they need but yet somehow people are buying $3000 suspension setups and tents and other stuff. It is because they want to and they justify that purchase as a need. Equipment also wears out so many also upgrade a component as a part of said maintenance. For example flywheels there are both lighter and heavier components for sale to meet a certain market. The demand was there but not at first, it needed time. I do believe this will also meet the threshold of demand like how ati was able to but it will not be overnight.

Engineering is like any other profession. Some are retarded.
Like Gregory Allen Justice and David Turpin.

    And some are not.

Yeah, I've had the "pleasure" of working with engineers who are handicapped with thinking.
