Everyone should test drive a Tacoma twice because we know the first drive is always under extreme excitement. It's very difficult to detect vibrations, noises, steering problems and other annoyances when your nipples are a half inch long......

The biggest distraction during a test drive is the chattering and the non-stop blather emanating from the salesman's mouth.

I actually asked him to be quiet so I could listen to the truck. I opened the windows, early February in IA (temperature in the single digits), so I could listen to the "voice" of the truck.

When I closed the windows, I said he could talk, I also turned on the radio to play with the speaker locations and features. Then verified all the other controls worked. It took a couple miles, but the salesman became silent. He squawked a little when I did a panic stop from 45 mph to check the ABS.

When arriving back to the dealership, the salesman said, "I have never had a customer be so intense on details in a Test Drive." I just smiled at him and said, "Let's negotiate."

That’s why I bought the Tacoma so I’d have a place to hang my bathing suit when my wife comes along

Let me guess... you didn't actually drive the vehicle before you signed a lease...

    And you are complaining?

I had a 1500 with the air ride before the Tacoma. It’s a small off road truck, it will ride like shit when compared.

I’ve gotten the ride close to how I was in my RAM by replacing the shocks with adjustable ones.

But since yours is a lease you might not be able to.

Plus you’re running an SR5 so the suspension from the factory isn’t the best

Ive always thought the "boomer" slang term was retarded.
Boomer = can pay their own bills, works, not a pussy.

I try to point out "the is no one behind" before doing that. They never get my point and freak out. It's funny. It's a good thing to test IMHO.
