hello I am having troubles with my 2005 manual 4 cyl tacoma I am getting a P0304 code
I got new spark plugs, new coils and its still jerking when I am driving. before getting new spark plugs I moved the 4th cylinder to the 1st and the problem "moved" so I just replaced everything. the CEL flashes when I'm accelerating and its jerking. could it be bad fuel injectors or am I probably looking at a head gasket problem? TIA

Are you saying that you moved the #4 coil to the #1 cylinder. And then got a P301?
If so, I’d suspect the coil.

What parts (Name and type) did you replace the old with?

correct. I replaced all spark plugs at first and everything was ok until next morning on my way to work it started jerking again I just replaced all of the coils with "import direct" brand? I'm only now starting to dive into all of this so I do not know much. i did have an overheating problem around the same time the Cel came on but I replaced the thermostat and the radiator cap and that problem has since gone away. I was fearing it could be a head gasket problem but I'm really just confused at this point.

    Are you loosing coolant?
Is the coolant level going down in the radiator after a few days?

Check it when the engine is cool.
Never open a radiator cap on a hot engine.
