Amp protect mode- checked all the normal problems?

I've got a Memphis 4 channel amp, and it randomly gos into protect mode? It always happens when I change the source on my Pioneer head unit, like if I was going from aux to cd. I've checked all of the wires to make sure they aren't grounding out, but still cannot find the problem!
Any ideas I might have missed? Don't want to do it, but I might take it into the audio shop and have them fix it
